Melina Paxinos Quartet – “Muses”

After five successful years, the beloved concert series of the B&E Goulandris Foundation Jazz at the Museum returns to the Foundation’s Amphitheatre and expands: under the title “Her Voice”, this year’s cycle opens up to new musical paths, embracing classical music, lyrical song and other forms of expression that highlight the timeless power of the musical art.

Melina Paxinos and her quartet present new compositions from her upcoming album Muses, inspired by the sense of freedom conveyed by the surrealist movement, which embraces the dream, the subconscious, and deep personal expression, with melody and lyricism at the forefront.
Joining Melina Paxinos on soprano saxophone and compositions are Yiannis Papadopoulos on piano, Kostas Patsiotis on double bass, and Dimitris Klonis on drums.
